The Wreck Of The Zanzibar is a children's fiction novel by Michael Morpurgo. It was first published in Great Britain by William Heinemann Publishers in 1995. The book won the Children's Novel award in 1995.

"Life on the Scilly Isles in 1907 is bleak and full of hardship. Laura's twin brother, Billy, disappears, and then a storm devastates everything. It seems there's little hope... that is until the Zanzibar is wrecked on the island's rocks and everything changes. " Please help because people are reading it in school. There are storms and Laura and her family thought about going somewhere else but they can not go somewhere because of the storms. After a few weeks later, Laura finds a turtle that is dead. when Laura goes to that beach again, she finds another turtle- she thinks it was real when it was fake and she brings it back to her house.
