Reappraised, and now widely accepted as a masterpiece of late 60s pop, this is as timeless as it is faultless. Swirling Mellotron over Colin Blunstone’s emotive voice and every track to be cherished, it was a major success in the USA where the Zombies were appreciated. ‘Time Of The Season’ reached near to the top of the charts. The UK gave up on them after ‘She’s Not There’. Rod Argent went on to great success with Argent, Blunstone became a solo singer, but they have never forgotten their first love.
